Bocas Bound currently offers private suites and dorm styled rooms for those who want to experience Isla Bastimentos while the Red Frog Beach project is being developed. The facility has been designed to host future educational groups and group travel retreats as well as help accommodate additional staffing for the resort as needed. When the Red Frog project has a formal grand opening (expected sometime in 2013) Bocas Bound will serve as an activity campus for these educational travel groups. Because of its idyllic setting above Red Frog Beach, national park access and the adjacent pavilion activity center, Bocas Bound will bring an educational and adventurous dimension to Red Frog Beach that showcases the unique eco system and habitat on Isla Bastimentos.
Bocas Bound has very basic accommodations and guests should be aware that during peak times of the year the atmosphere here becomes very fun and active with hostel guests from around the world. Most of the year this is a very tranquil environment and attracts nature lovers, beach enthusiasts and those wanting to experience a lot of adventure while on vacation in Bocas del Toro.
Bocas Bound is a short walk through a fantastic jungle trail to the beach. Kayukos lounge, located across from Bocas Bound, includes pool, ping pong, and movie nights on the big screen.
